A New Build for a New Generation

At Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools, administrators needed to design a new elementary school for the first time in 25 years, replacing the out-of-date, undersized Lincoln Elementary School with a new build to accommodate 750 students.

Commitment to Community

Triad provided preliminary budget and bond campaign assistance for the project. We were also the architect/design/engineering team for the building. We knew at the outset that purposeful community engagement would be the key to success on this project.

With that in mind, we designed a custom stakeholder engagement process that included every student at Lincoln Elementary, all staff members, and at-large community members interested in the project. We incorporated their input and feedback directly into our design process—essentially making them our co-designers.

The passion and commitment the people of Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools brought to this process made it possible for us to build an innovative, inspired community asset that we all can be proud of.
